Tell us a bit about your Pega journey - What motivated you to learn how to use Pega?
Initially, my goal was to further my career in the field of software development, so when I got the opportunity to learn Pega, I took it. It was different from all the other technologies I had worked with in the past. It was new to me, but it was very intuitive and seemed like a new way forward with technology.

How has Pega shaped or impacted your career?
Pega has created a new trajectory for my career as a Software Developer. About a year after graduating, I was not working directly in my field, but I was inclined to give it another try. Pega became the first development tool I worked with professionally, and it has fully restored my love for software development as a whole. It gave me the ability to create something that will be used by consumers on a large scale. I want to continue my career in software development so that I am able to create all facets of applications needed for any corporation or organization.

How is Pega changing the organization where you work?
The organization I am working in is now able to build a new application or work on portions of projects more efficiently with Pega. They are even able to rebuild older and outdated systems with Pega, and because there is so much Out of the Box functionality, it brings a modern and user-friendly twist to the application.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega Developer?
I would say, just go for it. You may not think it is for you, but you will find out that it is the way forward, and it is the future of software development. If you are possibly thinking of changing careers and leaning towards software development, I will say that Pega is a good place to start. You will gain an excellent understanding of both the business process and the full software development process/framework.

"Learning Pega’s Low-Code platform will allow developers to accomplish tasks in minutes that would ordinarily take a team of programmers’ hours to complete."
