Tell us a bit about your journey - how did you get started on Pega?

After serving some time in the Royal Australian Navy, I found it challenging to find something I enjoyed. In 2020, WithYouWithMe (WYWM) offered me a fantastic opportunity to study to become a Pega Certified System and Business Architect.

This was my foot through the door in the Technology Industry. This was my first interaction with Pega and since completing the certification, I have a newfound fascination with low code/no code and its endless possibilities.

Now that you have a Pega certification, what are the career goals and objectives that you will be working towards?

Ideally, I'd love to move forward in my training and become a Senior Systems Architect. From there, I have always wanted to learn UI/UX and feel this would be a great rewarding path to follow in Pega. Otherwise, I would love to explore becoming a Pega Instructor in the future and help share my knowledge and experience.

"I have a newfound fascination with low code/no code and its endless possibilities."

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega developer?

Becoming a Pega technologist is a great opportunity to set yourself apart from the pack and excel in a technology that is ever-growing and evolving. As for advice, have fun! It's a challenging, enjoyable and eye-opening Platform and Academy, that allows growth and experience unlike anything else I have done before.

"I think the best thing someone could do would be explore Pega Academy. The training on there is easy and straightforward with tons of resources! I still complete missions and modules in my down time just to keep learning!"
