Tell us a bit about your Pega journey - What was your motivation to pursue CLSA certification?
I started my career as a .Net developer. I first came across Pega when my client proposed an initiative to re-write one of my .Net applications into Pega. I was amazed by how quickly you can build applications and process-oriented architecture solutions on Pega. Soon after that initial introduction, I decided to fast-track my Pega journey by enrolling in a bootcamp. Today, I work as an architect providing end to end solution for our client’s business needs across various domains.

I had wanted to pursue the LSA certification for a long time since it was the logical path for me to progress in my career. When Pega launched the Accelerated CLSA Journey program, that ultimately gave me the boost and momentum to work towards the certification.

What were the most significant obstacles that you faced on your path to become CLSA certified? How were you able to overcome those obstacles?
The Pega platform updates quite often with lots of new features and new concepts being added constantly on each version. Initially I felt a bit overwhelmed and wasn’t sure if I would be able to study for the exams in addition to working my full-time job.

Going through all the prerequisite courses on Pega Academy, practicing the course exercises and retired exams gave me enough confidence to move forward. It can be a difficult process to navigate, but it’s really an opportunity for you to showcase all that you have learned throughout your career working on the platform.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega CLSA?
Pursing LSA certification will give you more in-depth knowledge on the core concepts of Pega. This will make it possible for you to build better solutions and solve complex business problems in the future.
