Let’s start off by learning a bit more about your life prior to Pega. Where are you from originally and what is your educational background?
I was born and grew up in India but I have lived in the United States since 2011. I studied Computer Science at the Kalyani Government Engineering College in India. After graduation, I started working as a QA engineer and found my passion in understanding how a business works, different challenges that businesses face, and how we can solve those challenges using technology. That curiosity and interest led me to Business Analysis roles.

What motivated you to learn how to use Pega?
I got introduced to Pega in 2007 during a project where we used Pega to build a Business Rules Engine. That first experience catalyzed my interest in Pega’s capabilities. After doing some more research into the Pega platform, I realized that it’s an ideal tool to quickly and easily solve many business challenges. It was also clear that pursuing a career in Pega could lead to tremendous opportunities for me to grow as a professional.

Based on my personal experience, having an advanced knowledge of Pega has greatly benefited everyone I know who decided to build a career as a Pega developer. It’s a great product with multiple capabilities. I have no doubt that the demand for Pega developers will keep growing in this age of digital disruption.
