Career Goals/Objectives

Pega CLSA

Let’s start off by learning a bit more about your life prior to Pega. Where are you from originally and what is your educational background?
I’m from India and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Information Technology from Vasavi College of Engineering in 2017.

What motivated you to learn how to use Pega?
Pega introduced the UAP (University Academic Program) to Vasavi College of Engineering and I applied to be part of the program. I really enjoyed the training program and that motivated me to pursue a career in Pega. After the successful completion of the Pega UAP training, I was hired directly from university by Infosys and I joined the team as a Pega Developer working for an insurance client.

Since starting at Infosys, I have also participated in Pega Robotics training and completed the certification process as a Certified Decisioning Consultant in Pega version 8.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega Developer?
It’s far and away the best technology platform that I have worked with so far. I have seen many developers in my network with years of experience developing on Java now switching over to Pega and that’s a testament to the power of Pega. It helps people with all levels of experience build excellent career opportunities.
